This was my Friday. It was nice, though we didn't do what we planned initially. It was nice. Had a photoshoot in the studio for HYPE Food spread. I won't reveal too much on it but our writers- Fanny & Gary put in so much effort in the shoot. They were making food in the pantry and bringing it in. So special. Make sure you check the next issue of HYPE for it yeah. It'll be fantabulous. Because we've got awesome editors. And also, of course, awesome designers. #hellyeahwhootwhoot.

Wokay. Time to sleep. Feeling hungry from no dinner. Nighty night~

It's Monday and I think I've already burnt out for the week.

 But I'm thankful for the God sent double-rainbow of hope through the cloudy skies out outside Makan Place as Dy' & I were walking out and having tried Food For Thought for the first time. This week's going to be amazing.

They just collected the postcards, standees and banners for Midea Youth Choice Award from the printers today. *so exciting*. Ronald was nice enough to let me to have a set for my portfolio. Well, I'm just waiting for people to send me articles so I can place them in Tribune. Bored bored bored + tired.

m:idea  I believe I haven't given you an explanation of what exactly is M:idea (mee-di-ah - that's how you pronounce it). It's a youth led organization by Ngee Ann Poly School of Film Media Studies that's split up to 8 different commodities; Hype, NPTribune, TheUrbanwire, Inspire Design, Marcomm, Radioheatwave, CTV and Moving Pictures. I'm doing design in InspireDesign. Whootwhoot. Tough work, Internship.

The above (and below) pictures illustrate our daily activties- camwhore and wasting our lives away. Stayed in The Loft @ 92 for 2 nights, designing the upcoming issue of NPTribune. The Loft is something like a free apartment/chalet that Ngee Ann Poly has. All Alumni/staff/students are allowed to book these apartments. They're usually used for camps/stay overs. So yeah, we've been there- The Midea Editorial team (Mandy Editor, Nevin Copywriter, XinZhe Deputy Editor, Noel Urbanwire Editor, and Shery&I-designers) and the designers! Not had alot of sleep~

Probably not supposed to be posting this here in case of copyright but, yayyyy, our M:idea posters are finally printed and are going to be up all over school. So exciting.

We were finally done, confirmed, and set to go. You could've imagined how relieved I was, considering the deadline is on Monday. Then, all my hard work of planning everything went down the drain again. We've been changing concepts for the past 2 weeks- twice a day- about 3 mood boards and 8 mini-ideas. That finally broke me.

Winona brought her awesome-looking multicoloured ukelele to school today yesterday. She was teaching me how to play the chords-- We wouldn't want mine at home to get dusty now, would we? So she taught me generic chords for typical songs like Somewhere over the Rainbow and Hey Soul Sister.

(GEEKTOOL), You make my day.

I'm just absolutely loving my desktop right now. Not only because it's fully customizable thanks to Geektool (MAC never fails to surprise me with its new apps), but also because I see a unicorn everytime I swipe my fingers back. The date and time widgets automatically refresh themselves too. This app includes Javascripts & HTML so it's somewhat confusing but so very accomplishing. ~~~~ So only now, shall I begin work. at 11.03am. LOL

Favourite outfit on the runway. Simple and classy girl-next-door knit wear. Probably die of heatstroke in Singapore though. Maybe shall get it for Shanghai during Christmas. HMM.

Top (left pic): Mustard yellow maryjane dress, so cute. Can't stand the ear-muffs inspired hairband though.

 I absolutely drooled over this dress as the model strutted her way down. Black velvet, puffy sleeves and bare backed with sides cut off. So beautiful. Not so crazy about the bandage turban though. Don't have a proper shot :( Forgot to check my exposure meter.

I love her strut the best. We went into the fitting room and she was walking towards us. Clicked a pic with my Ipad and forgot to save it. Urgh. Her smile was heart stopping.

TOPSHOPTOPMAN AUTUMN/WINTER 2011 COLLECTION looks rather splendid and comfy. Loving the brown, the occasional yellow and unexpectedly, the turquoise (& blue). I think Michael Van Der Ham's a genius for putting everything together. I'd never have associated turquoise and Fall/Winter. The knit, fleece and maroon leather. Gorgeous. Don't even get me started on the models. Head pieces and round neck collars are so gonna be in.

The Launch/event was held outside Ion. Explains the long queue beside the pop-up store? The runway was chic, clean. They had it last year in the Level 8 Ion carpark. Totally believe the ambiance was so much better this year with Ion's glass-LED light structure and the traffic of Orchard Rd. Street Fashion Love. There was a massive rush for the 20% off at the Ion outlet after that. Got a beautiful sheer cream top with gold buttons; but that was before everything because the Topshop ladies allowed us to pick out 1 top that's (max) $100 for our efforts (?).

So thankful that Ronald was able to get Elise, Iskandar and me media passes to be fashion photographers. We were prancing around the scene with iPad-Instagrams, taking pictures of fashionable people- and of course, the best thing's that we got the excuse to be right smack infront of the runway.

Brought my 1.4f/ but Sam, who was standing beside me needed it. So, there I was, in the crowd, all squashed up, handling an iPad in my left and a 70-200mm 2.8f/ in my right. The camera was probably 4KG and I got tired of lifting the probably 12inch lens. Didn't check my pics as the walk ran and only realised that all the female model shots were overexposed on the bus home with Col :'((  Ignorance is not bliss.

But yeah. Yay for Topshop.
