I'm just slabbing on multitudes of black+white acrylic

You've probably seen this on my instagram previously; but anywho~ 

Don't get me wrong, Woon Lam's drawing class is nothing but intensive; but no doubt, we learn a lot. He teaches us how to achieve chiaroscuro like painting, anatomy, tonal differences. Last (last) week, we were doing this exercise that required us to paint over photos (so if you see the first photo above, it's actually a printed out sheet that we're supposed to "chiaroscuro paint" over). Next week's class is on watercolour. Can't wait for our bittersweet 4 hour classes with him.
