"You've changed..." No, I think the proper term is "I've learnt to stop pleasing you".

I strive to care less about what people think of me because: Number1, it's truly none of my business what they think. Number2, pleasing the whole world is quite pointless and unmistakably impossible. Wasting my precious time isn't an option, considering how much I loathe the thought of it.
