Remember why you started

I have learnt that true love may never be seen by anyone but one's self. It's a quiet acknowledgment that does right, despite trial. It's not showy, but silently accepts. Which brings me to my point: 

"4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." 

Today, I understand.

Wallflower

"So, this is my life. And I want you to know that I am both happy and sad and I'm still trying to figure out how could that be." - Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012). Excuse my tardiness. I've yet to read the book but when I do, I know I'll love it. The screen write for the movie was so fantastic, I shamelessly keep going back to IMDB for their quotes. I do realise that it can get quite annoying when I start obsessing about a certain something, so pardon my public display of affection (for lack of a better term). Amazing photos by Shan.

I woke up with the sun

You can feel the light start to tremble, washing what you know out to sea.
You can see your life out the window, tonight. If I lose myself tonight, it'll be by your side.

The only thing I love about black/dark coloured Asian hair is that it goes fantastic with red lipstick. Speaking of which, I should've given more of the act cool face because the shooting ground was kinda spooky, with all its graffiti and obscured hand print marks on walls. Red would've made it all the more creepy. I like. Pardon the bralet, I admit it's a little revealing. Thought long and hard before posting full body outfits but I was like, screw it, all for the name of Photography.

Tell me where have the melodies gone

Went for a "pre-21st-birthday shoot" with Shan Lin on Sunday. She's going to be my birthday party photographer because her works are so fantastic. Promise this'll be the last sneak till she gives me her full edited cut. In the meantime, check her out at Shanism Photography.
