We will never be royal

I confess. I just splurged on Runway Bandits and Her Velvet Vase. Ashamed? I think not. So glad everything finally arrived in the mail this week; together with my sexayebeast le Blue Yeti recording mic from Amazon that Dad kindly sponsored. Someone needs to start controling my finances soon. Thanks for the photos Delia.

#UPDATE: & while you're still here, let us entertain you with our first cover using the Blue Yeti ^^ Enjoy~~

#UPDATE2: Special thanks to Ansen Goh for sharing our vid on the Obscured.sg page here. Now Adelia has the right to scold me for posting the video. She thinks she looks terrible. Somebody please tell her she looks like a total diva and her voice is amazing.

I'm forever yours, faithfully

We finally did another cover- Faithfully by Journey, featuring the lovely Sarah :) heehee so cute this girl!!
Tiara's completely amazing; beautiful, can sing so well, awesome in Netball, dancer.
Sigh, *number 1 fan*

Said hey lady won't you marry me

Our temporal band name is Adia, Sam and Amanda in a band, and this is a cover of KT Tunstall's Black horse and a Cherry Tree.

We did this quite awhile back for the SBS Halloween night gig. Our quirky band name was ever so impromptu. we couldn't even decide on a name till the very last min. we got on stage. Technically, I wouldn't even consider us a band. We just.... like to jam together. LOL. Didn't get to record the actual thing because, me, being the spectacularly clever-head I am, brought my 4gb memory card and didn't have sufficient space for the final song performance. Thankfully, I found this during rehearsals at home. These 2 girls are fantastic. Somebody should sign them. Enjoy.

Adia, Sam and Amanda

Forgive the pitch-iness. We probably had a thousand fumbles at the SBS Halloween gig yesterday, but here's presenting; Adia, Sam and Amanda in a band. Yes, that's our band name. We came together only 1 week before our performance and jammed only a couple of times. These girls are simply awesome. Uploading more real soon. Thank you Dan for your semi-acoustic and Alan for helping us record. Right now, here's Valerie.

Hang You Up - Yellowcard

It's hard to see you, we are older now.
But when I find you, you just turn around.

Pardon my awesomely terrible singing.
I love Marvin's voice.

Five colours in her hair.

Got hot pink hair extentions on Sunday while we were at Hyatt, having High Tea Buffet Lol. Hot Pink, because colours make me happy.

Just skimming through my previous posts earlier than early before.
Lol. What happened to me.
"If you love something, let it go."
Still tryna find enough inner chi to learn this art.
I'm selfish like that. But I refuse to be defeated.

Just came back from a 3.4km run sprint with G. Then had a nice long talk with Chris. Seems like everything happens for a reason. I'm more than glad to help at least 3 peepz with their relationships this week. It's sad how we take everything for granted sometimes, huh? Anywho, everything happens for a reason. And, now's the time to ReblogReblogReblogReblogReblog on Tumblahhh2~ So sorry if I've spammed your dashboard!
Tomorrow's gonna be Mum's birthday dinner at Raffles Hotel (only because she's got a 50% off lol). Wed's gonna be Udders with Chris. Thursday's gonna be vocals. Friday's gonna be Butter. I'm all packed up & set for the week. Bring it on, world. Give me all you've got.

What was I thinking.

Fix You - Cover by Cold Play.
*Forgive me; forgot some lyrics & went pitchy for a sec or two.
Camera framing, not the very best too- but I was tired of doing takes.

"Happiness is found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light."
Thanks Huishia (L). Love you to bits. But it's tough to find the light switch.

"its a females prerogative to get mad and say silly things. its the guys job to take it not be so easily moved by it you know..[she] said that to me tons of times in the heat of arguments. she never meant it. we both knew that" -Samuel L. If only every guy has this mentality.

Truth be told, nobody can handle the whole truth.
It really sucks to force myself to flick the switch off again & not care about anything in the world again. Lol. I'm half way there. Always asking myself; what's the point? What's the point of eating when you're just gonna get hungry again? What's the point of running to the shelter to stay dry? I'm like in a constant daze everywhere I go. Lol lol.
Somehow or another, despite all this, I'm so much more empathetic to the people around me. People I never used to help, I keep an open eye for now. I feel like I'm obliged to help them because I understand pain and hurt so much better. Like.. they don't need this too- one person suffering is bad enough.
It's so pretentious, flipping the switch off-  & you always feel like you're not good enough for anything. But is that not the only way of self preservation? You've gotta do what you've gotta do. I can't keep letting people around me feel worried because I'm not smiley-me anymore. I can't let them look out for me all the time. I can't be so selfish. Life shall go back to the way it was about a year ago.
So if you'd excuse me, Imma hide behind the silent tears of unicorns, rainbows, pretty colours & butterflies now.

:).

(Adelia & my cover of Umbrella by Rihanna.)

Well, well, well, look what I found in my iTunes. I think this was probably a year or two before 'cause I still had my braces on! Lol. Those days of Marie Digby's cover. Just love that girl. Ehla, ehla, eh, eh.
