The Orange Thimble/Tiong Bahru Bakery

(TOT)

1. The Orange Thimble
Brunch kids unite. Feng got the car (again) so we had our weekly brunch sesh at The Orange Thimble, after scanning through 20 Cafes to Visit in Singapore. This Cafe Hopping trend is really catching on, no? Orange Thimble is so cozy, with its pseudo indoor-outdoor-alfresco thing going on. Also, gotta love their rustic decoration. Jo & I shared a hearty breakfast set + 2 drinks + 1 rasberry cheese cake = $29.90++.

2. Tiong Bahru Bakery
And no, we didn't go to the Raffles City outlet. I always thought it's so weird that you have your TIONGBAHRUBakery in CITYHALL. But, ok, I digress. I don't know what more to say about Tiong Bahru bakery but everything there looks mouth watering. Cakes/tarts/fresh bread are all lined neatly behind glass cases. Only when you ask for your order will they break bread for you. Got a loaf of Brioche for mum and a Lemon Calamansi Tart (cuz I lavv lemon tarts heehee) to indulge ($18+ together). 'Nuff said, i think the photos justify the place.
