Renoir

The French artist Pierre Auguste Renoir was a leader in the early Impressionist movement. For the last two decades of his life, Renoir had to adapt his painting style to accomodate debilitating arthritis. He sometimes strapped a brush to his immobile, deformed fingers in order to continue his work.
One of his closest friends, Henri Matisse watched him struggle to apply each bruhstroke.
Matisse asked,"Why do you continue to paint when you're in such agony?"Renoir replied,"The beauty remains; the passes."

Pain passes but the beauty of wonder splendors around us will remain for eternity.
